"Samsara" is Siamgda's first release, a unique blend of Eastern drumming, ethnic sounds and electronic noises.

"These compositions are impressions of my living, studying and travelling as a foreigner in Nepal and India, the way I see, feel and hear life to be - colourful, mystical, rough, noisy, dark, meditative ... Transporting and melting the experience of myself and my surroundings into sound is all I do, no politics in any way!"

The Siamgda project was founded in the spring of 2001 at the foothills of the Himalayas near Kathmandu, Nepal by Marc Fischer. In Nepal, he came to hear about a music university in an ancient Newar settlement of the Kathmandu Valley. It was there that he first heard the amazing sound of the Indian „Tabla“ drums. ... more
